Relational Counseling Specialties:

·         Individual Therapy:  children, adolescents, and adults

·         Couples Therapy:  premarital, marital, and extramarital affair issues

·         Family Therapy:  changes in family structure (divorce/ remarriage, birth, death) 

·        Parenting/Education:  parenting concerns, behavior problems, school concerns, etc.

Training and Experience:

·        Helped facilitate IMAGO weekend workshops on several occasions, using couple dialogs as a way of increasing communication and working through “stuck places”

·        Certified Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) member - specialized training in working with people in crisis, with disabilities, or other special needs in order to get them the help and services needed, thus reducing or preventing the involvement of the criminal justice system

·        NOVA certified (National Organization of Victim’s Assistance) - organization dedicated to helping victims and their communities work through a crisis by involving necessary resources and facilitating group/peer discussions

·        Pregnancy Loss & Unresolved Grief - A time to Listen; A time to Heal- workshop in healing the trauma and unspoken pain of abortion, presented by Dr. Theresa Burke, Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries
