Treatment specialization includes:

• Pre-Marriage counseling: using the FOCCUS© Inventory, to "help engaged couples appreciate their unique relationship, learn more about themselves, and discuss topics important to their lifelong marriage.and Faciliatating discussion"  -- FOCCUS INC.
• Marriage Counseling: helping couples to learn the tools and techniques needed to sustain a lifetime relationship built on trust, love, forgiveness, intimacy, and spirituality.  Within marriage counseling, one of the bigger issues I work with is helping couples who find themselves dealing with the pain and betrayal of extramaritial affairs. 
• Family Counseling: working with changes in family structure(divorce/ remarriage, adoption, empty nesters, births, deaths, etc.) 
• Parenting Support and Education: parenting/behavior concerns, school concerns, etc.
• Stress and Anger Management
• Trauma and Crisis Counseling 
• Conflict Resolution

I work from a systems approach --  which means looking at each situation presented and helping my clients understand more about who, what, how and why other factors are connected to that main situation,  and then working with them to not only put together a plan to help solve the "presenting problem" but improve the larger "system." as well.
